Miracle Fortress - Maybe Lately
Maybe it's the fault of football mascots, but there's something vaguely sinister about people dressed as animals. It should be cute and innocent, it's just that there's something not right. Should they act like a human? No, that would be pointless, and sinister. Should they act like an animal? What, you mean like cocking a leg against a lamp-post to pee, or eating from a bowl? Again, sinister. In this vid there's a really strange meeting of real and fake animals, and I'm pretty sure only one set are unperturbed by the whole affair. Those poor dogs. That tortoise. Whose house IS that, at the end? Imagine the kids running downstairs to find them lot. Scarred for life.
It all seems a bit unnecessary given the scope the song sets out. Better to hear the it first, imagine your own things then ignore the undertones of this vid. But of course, it's too late now, so sorry about that.
