Tapes 'n Tapes - Insistor
There's something about a natty 'tashe which fascinates me, and there are some really rather impressive ones going on in this video. But even before that particular discovery I loved Insistor (from the utterly perfect album 'The Loon') and its shouty bits and whispery bits, and the way it builds up- it feels like it's got dynamism.
I also always loved the line 'don't you know I'll be your badger'. I'm not sure whether someone becoming a badger for me would be useful, or flattering, or what. But maybe these guys are working towards it anyway, one at mo' at a time.
