Johnny Boy - You Are The Generation That Bought More Shoes And You Get What You Deserve
Maybe they weren't the generation that bought more shoes. Maybe they bought fewer shoes and resented the accusation. Maybe they objected the misuse of "was" instead of "were". Either way Johnny Boy very much DIDN'T get what they deserved, being dumped by their over-demanding record label when this didn't propel them into the realms of superstardom. I reckon if it had been released 10 years earlier it might well have done.
Instead they'll have to live with the critical acclaim and we'll have to make do with this slightly thrown-together clip featuring all the necessary memes a vid needs. It's like video by numbers, if the numbers had been chosen at random from a tombola. Yeah yeah!
