Animal Collective - Peacebone
I'm probably safe in saying none of the Collective would be able to confirm they'd seen Red Dwarf. But I'm betting someone to do with this video had seen the episode 'Polymorph' from Series III. It's the episode famous for its shapeshifting alien, which at one point morphs into Rimmer's boxer shorts. As disturbing as that sounds, it's got nothing on this video, which features an almost identical creature cavorting with a not-exactly-normal-looking woman. It's beautifully shot; unfortunately what it's shooting is the opposite of beautiful.
Look past that and you've got a typically trippy AC tune, and one that somehow works in a bit of falsetto and whip-cracking screaming within the same chorus, while talking about broccoli and mildew on rice. Hmmm. I think I want a half of whatever the Collective are having.
