Le Loup - Planes Like Vultures
I know it's not, but I like to imagine the guy's actually sat on Hampstead Heath. Just the perfect place to ruminate over lost loves while the sun rises and you listen to this song. At once, triumphant, defiant and hopeless, it's a bloody good one to listen to if you're in a mood. You know the kind.
Anyway, any song that starts a capella is good by me, very brave too because live it can be a bugger to stay in tune. It also uses vocal counterpoint, something you don't hear much of in modern music. I don't see why, because it's bloody nice when it works - I guess you've got to have the singers for it.
